Salary: NO3 £24,404 - £24,790 per annum (actual salary £17,973 - £18,258 per annum)

32.5 hours per week, term time only.

Contract: 1 year fixed term (with a view to extend)

You will be employed by ONE Academy Trust to work at Simonside Primary School and any other location which may reasonably be required by the Board of Trustees for the proper performance and exercise of your duties.

  • has high expectations of behaviour and will be committed to making a positive influence on the lives of our children
  • has experience in supporting children 1:1
  • can support children with high SEND needs in a small group provision.

We are an academy which is part of the ONE (OWL North East) Trust with seven other primary schools in the Outer West of Newcastle upon Tyne.  This Trust is a collaborative and forward-thinking group of schools, which works to continue to improve the lives and educational outcomes of children across the Outer West.  Please also note that this post is subject to a six month probationary period.
