Year 6 Visit BBC Newcastle

2nd December 2015
Year six visited BBC Newcastle today and had a tour as part of our study in literacy on journalism.  It was brilliant!  We learnt all about how TV and radio broadcasts are made, and saw journalists at work.  We even had a go ourselves at being presenters on Look North!  Further details will be coming your way about a special radio programme due to be aired this month, which will now feature our Y6 voices!  We recorded spoken introductions to songs, and also recorded one of our Christmas production songs.

As Caitlin said on her way out, “This was the best trip ever!”.

Exemplary behaviour as always Y6 – Well done!
